Research Area

급격하게 변화하는 현대사회에서 인류는 기후변화라는 생존이 걸려있는 난제와 힘겨운 싸움을 벌이며 이와 동시에 4차 산업혁명에 대비하여야 한다. 특히나 물이라는 매체는 기후변화에 직접적인 영향을 받을 뿐 아니라, 물 환경 시스템이 가지고 있는 복잡성에 의해 기후변화로 인해 발생하는 물 문제의 해결 방안을 찾는 데 많은 어려움이 있다. 이러한 상황에서 기후변화로 인한 물 문제와 4차 산업혁명은 인류의 생활 방식을 완전히 재편할 수 있는 잠재력을 가진 기회로 부각되고 있다.
환경시스템공학 연구실은 복잡성과 무작위성을 내재하고 있는 물 환경 시스템에 대한 과학적/논리적 고찰과, 정보통신기술(ICT)와 환경기술(ET)의 융합을 통하여, 기후변화와 환경오염에 대한 최적의 대응 방안들을 찾기 위한 체계적인 연구를 진행한다. 연구 관심분야로서 다음과 같은 주제가 있다.
